Privacy Policy — Click to Whatss

Last updated: 10 August 2026

Click to Whatss lets you start a WhatsApp chat with any phone number without saving it as a contact.

The app collects nothing. There is no backend, no account, no analytics, no advertising SDK, and no crash reporting. The developer does not receive, store, or have any way to see the numbers you enter, the messages you draft, or anything else you do in the app.

What stays on your device

DataWhyWhere it lives
Your last five opened numbers Shown as shortcuts so you don't retype them Local device storage only. Clear it any time with the "clear all" action, or by uninstalling the app.
Your language and country choice So the app opens the way you left it Local device storage only.

Neither is ever transmitted anywhere. Phone numbers are never written to logs.

Microphone and voice input

The microphone is used only while you are actively holding or have tapped the voice input button, and permission is requested at that moment — never at startup. If you decline, every other part of the app keeps working.

The app does not record, save, or upload audio itself. It hands the microphone to your device's built-in speech recognition service (on most Android phones this is Google's) and receives back only the recognized text, which is turned into digits and placed in the number field. That recognition step may process audio on your device's manufacturer's or Google's servers, under their privacy policy, not this one. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Clipboard

When the app opens, it checks once whether your clipboard already contains a valid phone number, so it can offer it as a one-tap suggestion. The clipboard content is not stored and not sent anywhere. If it isn't a phone number, nothing is shown.

Opening WhatsApp

When you tap to start a chat, the app hands the phone number (and your optional pre-filled message) to WhatsApp, or to your browser via a wa.me link if WhatsApp is not installed. From that point the data is handled by WhatsApp under WhatsApp's Privacy Policy. The app never sends a message on your behalf — you always press send yourself.

Permissions

PermissionWhy
RECORD_AUDIOOptional. Voice input only, requested when you tap the microphone.
INTERNETRequired by the system speech recognition service. The app makes no network requests of its own.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
